Art Yarn; The Basics
This is a repeat of workshop that we had in 2024, (Exploration Art Yarn) the abridged "mini" version of our workshop.
The goal of this "mini" is to introduce the basic fundamental skills and tools for spinners to begin to create art yarn. This workshop is great for spinners, or anyone curious about the tools, and techniques required to make art yarn. There will be a demo and exercises.
Supply list:
Any type of fiber (the more color the better).
Pre-spun fine single, strong thread, or commercial yarn.
spinning wheel, bobbins, lazy kate, (preference of large orifice if available).
We will have plying wheels for the group if singles deviate.
